WWE Stars “Take A Knee” For Black Lives Matter

WWE stars Kofi Kingston and Big E who are collectively known as “The New Day” showed their support for Black Lives Matter during their ring entrance on Smackdown Friday night aired on FOX television network. They both wore armbands featuring the names of victims of police violence

World Wrestling Entertainment (WWE) is the leader in pro wrestling and sports entertainment programming with content airing weekly on both USA Network (owned by NBC Universal) and the FOX television network respectively. The company is owned by Vince McMahon who’s wife Linda McMahon leads a pro-Trump super PAC.

Rival pro wrestling company All Elite Wrestling which airs weekly on TNT has also featured wrestlers showing support for Black Lives Matter.
