Bindi Irwin the daughter of the late wildlife conservationist Steve Irwin has shared some details of what Australia Zoo will put into place when the nation of Australia eases its lockdown due to the COVID-19 global pandemic. In a new video released by the zoo, Bindi outlines the mental health benefits of being able to interact with animals, the facilities being outdoors, social distancing guidelines, and more. Irwin adds that the goal is to provide a sense of healing and normalcy for the benefit of the visitor’s mental health after these last few months.
Bindi recently married American fiance Chandler Powell in the midst of the ongoing pandemic which limited the small ceremony to immediate family and was held at the Australia Zoo.
