Kermit The Frog And Muppets Sing COVID Version Of ‘Muppet Show’ Theme

Kermit The Frog and his muppet pals joined Seth Rogan and others to offer a modern twist to the theme song of the 1970s variety series The Muppet Show. It was all part of the opening segment for The Disney Family Singalong: Volume II. The special aired on the ABC network and is currently available on-demand through Hulu.

The singalong series has been a hit for family viewers as stars across the Walt Disney brands have shared performances from their homes amid the ongoing COVID-19 global crisis. The video begins with Kermit The Frog getting ready for a video chat his trademark banjo ready to go as Seth Rogan joins the call and expresses how lonely it has been not being able to be around his friends. Kermit always looking for the silver lining in every situation brings on his friends to join in on a rendition of the classic Muppet Show theme song with new lyrics written for the Disney Family Singalong.
