Grace VanderWaal has released an audio recording of production notes for her latest music video which will be released on February 22nd. The song “stray” is a very personal song to Grace and in this recording, she describes in great detail what she wants in the music video, how she wants it filmed and what she wants the message to convey.
The 15-year-old has never been shy about having control over her music and what it should represent. Grace has always chosen her own path going back to her time on NBC’s America’s Got Talent where she decided to perform an original song for her audition when she was just 12 years old at the time.
In the audio clip which you can listen to below Grace describes a very specific desert scene and even gets into detail of how the camera should shoot the opening scene and what follows.
