This past weekend the singer-songwriter appeared at the Race to Erase MS gala making it her first public appearance in two years.
During the event, Lavigne was interviewed by E-News where she revealed her 6th studio album will be ready in two weeks and promises a release date for this year.
This album will mark her first release since 2013. Lavigne went on to say that this record is going to be a very emotional one, adding that she’s been through a lot of personal hardships in the past four years (including her battle with Lyme disease) and that this album will reflect that.
