Just Jared Jr had the chance to catch up with actress Ava Kolker who shared how her role on Girl Meets World prepared her for the role of Olive on the new Disney Channel series Sydney to the max.

In the exclusive interview, Ava reveals what she likes most about the new role of olive saying that she is fun outgoing loyal but has a quirky personality. Olive is the BFF of Sydney in the series.

Ava adds that fans will love the new show because of the relationships and bonds between the characters and the hilarious comparisons between current day and the ’90s. They can also laugh with their parents as both generations will find a lot to relate to the 12-year-old actress shared.

Discussing her previous role in Girl Meets World Ava shares that it taught her how a show flows and about the life of a Disney kid such as waking up at 5:30 am and having a full busy day at work. But also it taught her how to transform into another person and get creative to help build the different fun layers of that character.

Sydney To The Max | Disney Channel

Disney Channel has released the trailer for the upcoming family series “Sydney To The Max”. The series is scheduled to premiere in 2019.

About The Show:

A heartwarming and sentimental comedy, “Sydney to the Max” centers around the experiences of a sociable, goodhearted middle schooler named Sydney Reynolds and her protective, doting – and sometimes clueless. – single dad Max as they navigate the challenges of growing up. Set during two time-frames, decades apart, flashback scenes to young Max and his best friend Leo in the 1990s parallel many of the funny predicaments Sydney and her BFF Olive get themselves into. VHS camcorders, bleached skater hair and other ’90s-defining “relics” aside, Sydney and Max come to realize, aided by Sydney’s kicky grandmother Judy, who’s well-versed in Max’s childhood antics, that they have more in common than either realizes.

The cast includes Ruth Righi as Sydney and “Girl Meets World” alum Ava Kolker as Olive.
