Tim Burton’s highly anticipated sequel, Beetlejuice Beetlejuice, is set to make its streaming debut on Max starting December 6, just in time for the holiday season. The film, which hit theaters on September 6, captivated audiences with its mix of nostalgia and fresh energy, making its upcoming streaming release a treat for fans.
Reuniting beloved cast members Michael Keaton and Winona Ryder, the sequel continues the quirky adventures of the eccentric bio-exorcist and his human companions. Keaton’s portrayal of Beetlejuice remains as memorable as ever, while Ryder reprises her role as Lydia Deetz. The film also introduces Jenna Ortega as Astrid, Lydia’s daughter, adding a new dynamic to the ghostly tale.
Beetlejuice Beetlejuice not only brought back the signature humor and gothic aesthetic of the original but also expanded its universe with new characters and imaginative settings. Fans praised the balance of honoring the 1988 classic while bringing something new to the table.
The release on Max gives viewers who may have missed the theatrical run a chance to join in the fun from the comfort of their own homes. Whether you’re revisiting the Netherworld or experiencing it for the first time, this sequel is sure to deliver laughs, scares, and plenty of “strange and unusual” moments.
