Mike Flanagan’s take on Stephen King’s Carrie has been building buzz for months, and now there is footage to match the anticipation.
The 52-second preview is a single tense beat: Summer H. Howell as Carrie shutting the door on her domineering mother with her telekinetic powers. It is short, dark, and ominous without giving much away.

All eight episodes of Carrie premiere October 7 on Prime Video. Howell landed the role after beating out 1,800 other candidates, as TDN previously reported.
