it has been announced that Christina Ricci has joined the upcoming Netflix series titled ‘Wednesday’ from director Tim Burton and starring Jenna Ortega. This will mark Christina Ricci’s return to the Addams Family franchise. The actress portrayed Wednesday Addams in the 1990s films ‘Addams Family’ and ‘Addams Family Values.’

Details are being kept secret as to Christina Ricci’s role in the new series but Deadline reports that it will be a new character and not an older version of Wednesday Addams.
