The streaming wars just got a lot friendlier. Disney Entertainment and Netflix have signed a new non-exclusive licensing agreement that will bring a slate of Disney-owned movies and shows to Netflix, TheWrap reports.
The first titles arrive October 4. The first two seasons of Percy Jackson and the Olympians will stream globally on Netflix for three months, a promotional window timed to the Season 3 premiere on Disney+ November 20. All five Ice Age films land the same day for three months, ahead of Ice Age: Boiling Point in theaters February 5, 2027.
More follows in the months ahead. Will Trent seasons 1 through 4 arrive globally November 3, and Shifting Gears seasons 1 and 2 land December 1 in the US, each ahead of new seasons early next year. Tracker seasons 1 through 3 come to Netflix outside the US on February 26, 2027. Select Walt Disney Animation and Pixar films, including Soul, Elio, and Raya and the Last Dragon, arrive in early 2027 with dates varying by region. Library favorites Felicity, Revenge, Army Wives, Fresh Off the Boat, and This Is Us are part of the deal as well.
The deal is non-exclusive, so everything stays on Disney+ and Hulu. Disney titles already streaming on Netflix, including Grey’s Anatomy and Black-ish, remain there too.
