Disney has unveiled the trailer for Vampirina: Teenage Vampire, the upcoming live-action musical comedy series inspired by the popular animated show. The series will premiere on September 12 on Disney Channel, with all 16 episodes arriving on Disney+ and Disney Channel On Demand beginning October 15.

The trailer teases Vee Hauntley’s new chapter as she enrolls at Wilson Hall Academy of the Arts. Now a teenager, Vee faces the challenge of keeping her vampire identity a secret while pursuing her passion for music. The sneak peek highlights the show’s mix of catchy songs, supernatural antics, and relatable high school drama.

Kenzi Richardson stars as Vee, joined by Jiwon Lee as her roommate Sophie, Shaun Dixon as Elijah, Milo Maharlika as Demi, and Faith Hedley as Britney. The cast also features Kate Reinders and Jeff Meacham as Vee’s parents and Kim Coles as Dean Merriweather. Guest stars include Ariel Martin (Baby Ariel) as Millie Eyelash and Janice LeAnn Brown, who reprises her Wizards Beyond Waverly Place role as Billie for a crossover episode.

The series comes from the creative team behind other Disney fan favorites, including High School Musical: The Musical: The Series and Julie and the Phantoms, ensuring a strong emphasis on music alongside the storytelling.

To complement the release, Disney will drop a 14-track soundtrack on October 10, featuring songs from the series. The first single, “S-L-A-Y,” debuts on September 12 to coincide with the premiere.
