Prime Video just posted a new Carrie promo with a simple caption and a heavy implication: “Mother knows best.”
The official clip, live on Prime Video’s YouTube and Instagram, puts Samantha Sloyan’s Margaret White front and center as Mike Flanagan’s eight-episode Stephen King series barrels toward its Wednesday, October 7 premiere. After the full trailer earlier this month, this is a tighter character tease rather than a new trailer cut, aimed squarely at the mother-daughter pressure cooker that has always powered King’s debut novel.
As TDN covered when the full trailer landed, Flanagan’s take expands Chamberlain across eight episodes, with Summer H. Howell as Carrie White opposite Sloyan’s fiercely protective Margaret. All episodes arrive the same day on Prime Video.
