The producing team of “Jo – The Little Women Musical” just got a major boost. The show announced on its official Instagram on September 18, 2026 that Tony and Grammy-nominated producer Joanna Topetzes has joined the musical as Executive Producer.

Topetzes brings a resume that spans Broadway, television, and music. She was a co-producer of the Tony-nominated Deaf West Broadway revival of Spring Awakening and was involved with the Tony Award-winning Broadway revival of Once On This Island. She also co-produced Michael Arden’s Merrily We Roll Along at The Wallis in Los Angeles and Little Dancer at Seattle’s 5th Avenue.

On television, she produced NBC’s musical Brotherhood of Man, directed by Oscar winner Taika Waititi and featuring 115 stars from 30 NBC shows, which was shortlisted for a Gold Lion at Cannes. A singer and Recording Academy member, Topetzes also served as Executive Producer of Burt Bacharach and Steven Sater’s Some Lovers, which earned a Grammy nomination.

“Jo – The Little Women Musical” is a reimagining of Louisa May Alcott’s classic novel, with music by Dan Redfeld and book and lyrics by Christina Harding and John Gabriel Koladziej. The studio album was recorded at Abbey Road Studios and released worldwide in May through Center Stage Records.
