The Land of Oz in North Carolina is preparing for its annual Autumn at Oz Festival, with ticket sales starting on June 5 at 9 AM. This year’s festival coincides with the 85th anniversary of the classic MGM film, “The Wizard of Oz.”
Tickets will be available at landofoznc.com. The festival will be held over three weekends in September: the 6th-8th, 13th-15th, and 20th-22nd. Autumn at Oz is known for its immersive theatrical experience, allowing visitors to walk the Yellow Brick Road and encounter characters such as the Scarecrow, Tin Man, Cowardly Lion, and Wicked Witch. The event includes live performances, various vendors, face painting, and other attractions.
Situated at the peak of Beech Mountain, 5,506 feet above sea level, the Land of Oz offers panoramic views of the Blue Ridge Mountains. The Over the Rainbow Observation Deck provides a vista that spans five states.
