Comcast, a major provider of cable television, internet, and wireless services, has announced a new streaming bundle called “StreamSaver.” This bundle will include access to Peacock (Comcast’s own streaming service), Netflix, and Apple TV+ at a reduced price compared to subscribing to each service individually.
The bundle will be available to Comcast broadband and TV customers later this month. Comcast CEO Brian Roberts stated that the StreamSaver bundle will be offered at a “vastly reduced price” compared to other options in the market. However, specific pricing details have not yet been revealed.
The introduction of StreamSaver comes as other media companies are also exploring streaming bundles. Recently, Disney and Warner Bros. Discovery announced a bundle that includes Disney+, Hulu, and Max.
Comcast’s StreamSaver bundle is seen as a way to attract and retain customers in the competitive streaming market. The bundle’s launch also coincides with a planned price increase for Peacock’s standalone service.
