The Travel Channel’s spine-tingling anthology series The Haunted Museum is returning for a second season of terrifying tales on October 26. Inspired by the thousands of haunted artifacts on display at Zak Bagans’ museum in Las Vegas, the upcoming season will feature eight new short horror films.

Renowned horror filmmaker Eli Roth has teamed up once again with paranormal investigator and Ghost Adventures host Zak Bagans to bring these scripted stories to life. Bagans and Roth handpicked writers and directors to create cinematic interpretations of the cursed objects in Bagans’ collection. Each episode begins with an introduction by Bagans, detailing the item’s disturbing backstory and how he acquired it.

Highlights of this season include stories based on sinister pieces like serial killer Ed Gein’s actual cauldron, evil puppets thought to possess human souls, a guitar owned by a dead serial killer, and an ancient mummified witch’s head. The premiere focuses on a cursed brothel bed where owner Dennis Hof mysteriously died.

With Bagans’ extensive knowledge of paranormal curiosities and Roth’s mastery of the horror genre, The Haunted Museum offers a unique blend of creepy tales. The series spotlights some of the world’s most infamous and haunted objects, bringing their ominous histories to life.

For horror fans, this anthology series provides the perfect pre-Halloween programming. The cinematic shorts allow for imaginative interpretations of the sinister stories behind Bagans’ collection. From unsettling puppets to cursed cauldrons, each episode explores the darker aspects of items housed in the haunted museum.

Tune in to Travel Channel on Thursday nights at 10/9c starting October 26 to catch the newest season of The Haunted Museum. Get ready for eight weeks of terrifying tales best watched with the lights on!
