It’s the most wonderful time of the year for Disney+ subscribers, as the streaming service has revealed that “The Santa Clauses” Season 2 will premiere on November 8 with two eagerly awaited episodes. Thereafter, new episodes of the Christmas comedy series will release weekly.
Reprising his iconic role as Scott Calvin/Santa Claus, Tim Allen returns in the red suit alongside his on-screen son Austin Kane as Cal. This season, Santa’s North Pole kingdom faces a new threat in the form of Magnus Antas, played by Eric Stonestreet. Magnus is intent on reclaiming the jolly gift-giver’s throne.
Also back this season are Elizabeth Mitchell as Carol and Laura San Giacomo as the quick-witted Christmas Witch La Befana. New cast members include Gabriel Iglesias as Kris “Kringle” Moreno and Marta Kessler as Magnus’ gnome sidekick Olga. Fans will be thrilled to see the return of Matilda Lawler as Santa’s whip-smart chief of staff Betty.

While full of fantasy and humor, the heart of “The Santa Clauses” remains the Calvin family and Scott’s journey as he prepares Cal to inherit the Santa mantle. Their emotional father-son story promises to deepen in exciting ways this season.
With its November 8 premiere timed perfectly to get viewers excited for the holidays, “The Santa Clauses” Season 2 is sure to deliver plenty of Christmas cheer and become a new tradition for families this year. So grab some hot cocoa and candy canes, and get ready for the sleigh ride of the season!
