The first new music from Paramore since 2017’s After Laughter has been announced. On September 28, the pop-punk group will release the new single “This Is Why.”

Singer for Paramore Hayley Williams has released two solo albums since After Laughter: Petals for Armor in 2020 and Flowers for Vases / Descansos in 2021.

The group will embark on a North American tour in October. A headlining performance at the When We Were Young Festival in Las Vegas is part of the 12-show run. In response to the Supreme Court’s decision to overturn Roe v. Wade, the band declared that a portion of the proceeds from ticket sales would be donated to organizations that offer reproductive healthcare and abortion services.
