Jenna Ortega discusses taking on such an iconic role in a new behind-the-scenes feature for the upcoming Tim Burton series “Wednesday,” which will be available on Netflix. In the feature, she also discusses the groundbreaking move to have the character finally be represented as a Latina character.

“Wednesday is technically a Latina character and that’s never been represented. So for me, any time that I have an opportunity to represent my community, I want that to be seen.” Jenna Ortega said.
