Mckenna Grace posed for the cameras above Sydney Harbour on Wednesday as the international tour for The Hunger Games: Sunrise on the Reaping got underway in Australia.
Grace, who plays tribute Maysilee Donner in the film, posed with the Sydney Opera House behind her in a House of Giles gown, Annabel Chan jewels and Jimmy Choo shoes. Fashion has always been part of the spectacle of the Games, and she was joined at the photo call by co-star Joseph Zada, who plays young Haymitch Abernathy.
That evening, Grace met fans at The Eveleigh at The Grounds of Alexandria for the first fan event of the tour, hosted by Australian comedian Joel Creasey. The night featured a live Q&A with Grace and Zada and a surprise aerial performance inspired by the spectacle of the Hunger Games.

The Sydney stop follows Grace’s much-discussed Paris Fashion Week appearance, where the Monique Lhuillier gown she wore to a Panem style event at the Musée Rodin paid homage to the wedding look Jennifer Lawrence wore as Katniss Everdeen in Catching Fire, a moment TDN covered earlier this month.
Sunrise on the Reaping returns to Panem 24 years before the original films for the 50th Hunger Games, the Second Quarter Quell, where Haymitch forms an alliance with Grace’s Maysilee inside the arena. Directed by Francis Lawrence, the film opens in theaters November 20.
The tour rolls on in a big month for Grace: on Sunday, she receives the Spotlight Award at the Newport Beach Film Festival Honors.
