Caitlin Clark has a new co-star, and he has been waiting his whole life for this exact moment. Xfinity released a six-second teaser on Friday pairing the Indiana Fever star with Cookie Monster, and the whole thing is shot from inside an oven. A tray of chocolate chip cookies bakes under the heating elements as the words “Something G.O.A.T. is coming” appear, and then the two of them lean in from either side of the glass, Clark on the left and the blue Sesame Street icon on the right, both staring down the cookies like the fourth quarter just started.
A companion version of the teaser opens on the pair holding cookies under the words “THIS DUO MAKES NO SENSE,” with a voiceover explaining that they have teamed up to cook up something wild. That is genuinely all anyone knows so far. Xfinity has not said what the collaboration is, when it arrives, or what form it takes, and the teaser is built to raise exactly those questions.
The pairing is less random than it looks. Clark’s Sesame connections go back to July 2025, when she debuted a Cookie Monster edition of the Nike Kobe 6 Protro in a game against the Dallas Wings, done up in his blue fur with fuzzy laces and a cookie-tan tongue. She has also worn an Elmo-themed pair, part of what sneaker coverage at the time described as her broader Sesame Street partnership with Nike.
Xfinity and Clark have history of their own. Their 2024 commercial paired her with a Scottsdale city planner who happens to share her name, built on the idea that not all Caitlin Clarks are the same, and she has fronted the brand’s “Connection You Can Count On” campaign since. This is the first time the brand has put her next to a Muppet, though. Whatever is in the oven, TDN will update this story the moment Xfinity announces what Clark and Cookie Monster are actually cooking.
