Carrie Promo Counts Down Two Weeks to Prime Video Premiere

Amazon MGM Studios shared a new Carrie promo with two weeks to go until all eight episodes of Mike Flanagan's series premiere on Prime Video on October 7.

Amazon MGM Studios is officially counting down to Carrie. The studio shared a new promo on Instagram on Wednesday with a simple message: “The pressure’s rising. Carrie is almost here.”

The reel flashes a “TWO WEEKS” title card before closing on the series end card: prime original CARRIE, new series, October 7. That is the day all eight episodes of Mike Flanagan’s take on Stephen King’s debut novel arrive on Prime Video.

Summer H. Howell stars as Carrie White, the secluded teenager whose telekinetic powers awaken after she enters public high school. As TDN reported, Flanagan directs four of the eight episodes, with Samantha Sloyan, Amber Midthunder, and Matthew Lillard among the ensemble. The series got its full trailer earlier this month, and Prime Video followed it with a chilling new poster this week.
