The Street Fighter movie is putting the spotlight on its strongest fighter. The official Street Fighter accounts have shared a new character piece all about Chun-Li, with the cast talking about bringing the iconic World Warrior to life.
Callina Liang plays Chun-Li in the film, starring alongside Noah Centineo as Ken Masters and Andrew Koji as Ryu. The cast also includes Jason Momoa as Blanka, David Dastmalchian as M. Bison, Joe “Roman Reigns” Anoa’i as Akuma, Cody Rhodes as Guile, Curtis “50 Cent” Jackson as Balrog, Orville Peck as Vega, Mel Jarnson as Cammy, and Andrew Schulz as Dan Hibiki. Kitao Sakurai directs.
Set in 1993, the story follows estranged fighters Ryu and Ken Masters as the mysterious Chun-Li recruits them for the World Warrior Tournament, a brutal clash of fists, fate, and fury hiding a deadly conspiracy that forces the two to face off against each other. Street Fighter hits theaters October 16, and tickets are on sale now.
