Disney has introduced a short-term discount on its Disney+ and Hulu streaming bundle, dropping the price to $4.99 per month for the first three months. The offer, which runs through March 24, applies to the ad-supported tier and is available to new and eligible returning subscribers in the United States. After the promotional period, the subscription reverts to the standard rate of $12.99 per month.

The promotion arrives as Disney works to grow its streaming audience ahead of a financially significant year. The company recently stopped disclosing subscriber counts, but its Q1 fiscal 2026 results showed combined Disney+ and Hulu revenue of $5.35 billion, up 11% year-over-year, with operating income rising 72% to $450 million. Disney has stated it is targeting a 10% operating margin for its entertainment streaming segment by the end of fiscal 2026, up from the current 8.4%.

The deal also comes as Disney prepares to consolidate its two streaming services. The company has indicated it plans to fully integrate Hulu into Disney+ at some point in 2026, though no specific timeline has been set and both services will continue to be sold as standalone plans.

The discount fits a pattern Disney has followed in recent years of running promotional pricing while also raising its standard rates. The company increased the price of the Disney+/Hulu bundle from $10.99 to $12.99 per month last October, its third price hike in three years. Just months earlier, over the holiday season, it offered the same bundle at $4.99 per month for a full year as part of a Black Friday promotion. The current offer is narrower, covering three months rather than twelve.

The bundle gives subscribers access to content from Disney, Pixar, Marvel, Star Wars, and National Geographic through Disney+, alongside Hulu’s library of current network programming, original series, and films. The ad-supported plan includes commercials on both services; Disney offers ad-free bundle options at higher price points.

After the promotional period ends, the Disney+/Hulu bundle will auto-renew at the then-current monthly retail price.
