Noah Kahan will release “Draw You Out,” the lead single from The Hunger Games: Sunrise on the Reaping (The Album), on October 2. Fans can pre-save the song now.
Kahan shared the news on Instagram Thursday morning, writing that he was inspired by the “tragic yet hopeful story of Haymitch and Lenore Dove” and wrote the song about the “purpose, grief and perseverance through pain” they represent. He called the film incredible and said he is honored to be a small part of it.
The full album arrives November 13, one week before the film hits theaters everywhere on November 20.
Directed by Francis Lawrence and based on Suzanne Collins’ best-selling novel, The Hunger Games: Sunrise on the Reaping follows sixteen-year-old Haymitch Abernathy (Joseph Zada) into the 50th Annual Hunger Games, the Second Quarter Quell, where he forms an unlikely alliance with fellow tribute Maysilee Donner (Mckenna Grace). The cast also includes Jesse Plemons, Ralph Fiennes, Glenn Close, Kieran Culkin, Elle Fanning, Maya Hawke, Whitney Peak, and Kelvin Harrison Jr.
