Apple TV+, continuing its successful partnership with Wildbrain Studios and Peanuts Worldwide, is taking the beloved ‘Peanuts’ gang to new horizons with its first original animated feature film. This new adventure will bring Charlie Brown, Snoopy, and friends to the bustling landscape of the big city, a fresh setting for the characters.

The film represents a significant addition to Apple’s ‘Peanuts’ offerings, which includes a slew of library titles and specials that have streamed on the platform. The creative team is led by director Steve Martino and includes producer Bonnie Arnold and screenwriter Karey Kirkpatrick, who have previously delivered animated hits. The story originates from the pens of Craig Schulz, Bryan Schulz, and Cornelius Uliano, who also scripted the critically acclaimed ‘The Peanuts Movie.’

With this project, Apple continues to nurture the legacy of Charles M. Schulz’s work, providing a new generation with original ‘Peanuts’ content. Tara Sorensen of Apple and Craig Schulz both express enthusiasm for this latest expansion of the ‘Peanuts’ world, anticipating it to be a warmly received addition to the franchise’s storied history.
