Apple TV has released the trailer for Way of the Warrior Kid, its family film starring Chris Pratt as a Navy SEAL who spends one summer turning his bullied nephew’s life around. The film premieres globally on Apple TV on November 25.

Watch the trailer below.

Jude Hill plays Marc, a good kid for whom middle school has been a nightmare: he is bullied by his classmates and feels behind in everything, from schoolwork to gym class to making friends. Then his Uncle Jake, played by Pratt, arrives to spend the summer recuperating with Marc and his mom, Sarah, played by Linda Cardellini. Jake is a decorated Navy SEAL, and to help his nephew stand up for himself he builds an ambitious summer program out of his own training and calls it Operation Warrior Kid. The point of it is not fighting. Jake sets out to show Marc what real courage looks like, and faces down a few of his own demons along the way.

The film is based on the bestselling novel by Jocko Willink, himself a former Navy SEAL, whose Warrior Kid books have made Marc’s story a favorite with young readers. McG directed from a screenplay by Will Staples. The cast around Pratt, Hill and Cardellini includes Ava Torres, Levi McConaughey, Darien Sills-Evans, Carl McDowell and Parker Young.
