This trailer offers horror fans a taste of what’s to come – the return of Ellen Burstyn’s iconic character Chris MacNeil and her reunion with the infamous demon that tormented her.

Under the direction of David Gordon Green, “The Exorcist: Believer” marks the return of the iconic horror franchise that began with William Friedkin’s seminal 1973 film. With Burstyn back in her legendary role, the new film picks up the demonic story years later.

The freshly dropped trailer captures the ominous, nerve-shredding atmosphere that made the original a masterpiece of terror. We catch glimpses of a possessed soul overcome by the demon’s diabolical control. The trailer suggests this new installment will see the sadistic demon reignite his campaign of possession. Burstyn’s Chris MacNeil may be the only hope against this diabolical foe.

Horror fans, prepare for this iconic on-screen reunion. Burstyn’s legendary character confronts the demon that first terrified us decades ago. Mark October 6th on your calendar if you dare to witness the Exorcist saga revived in all its terrifying glory.

While Taylor Swift unveils her concert film the following week on October 13th, The Exorcist first looks to unleash frights with this long-awaited sequel. Don’t miss the spine-chilling trailer giving us a taste of the terror to come.
