NOTE: This article is 8 months old and may not include the most recent information.

Warner Bros. Discovery is set to enter the streaming news market with the launch of CNN Max on September 27, 2023. CNN Max will be a 24/7 live streaming news service aiming to deliver a fresh approach to breaking news coverage.

The new platform represents Warner Bros. Discovery’s push into streaming news and digital engagement. CNN Max will feature both exclusive original programming and live streams of existing CNN shows. The service will be anchored by renowned CNN personalities like Jim Acosta, Fredricka Whitfield, and Anderson Cooper.

CNN Max will also introduce product innovations like real-time breaking news alerts and dynamic on-screen graphics. The service appears positioned to reach younger viewers, an audience underserved by current pay-TV news offerings.

The launch of CNN Max marks a new chapter for Warner Bros. Discovery’s news operations as it aims to redefine digital news for the streaming era. With its focus on exclusive content and product features, CNN Max will enter a competitive – yet still emerging – streaming news marketplace.
