The Broadway production of Grey House will end its limited engagement on July 30 at the Lyceum Theatre. The new play began previews in April and opened officially in June.
Grey House is written by Levi Holloway and directed by Joe Mantello. The thriller stars Laurie Metcalf, Tatiana Maslany, and Sophia Anne Caruso as inhabitants that a couple encounters in an isolated cabin after crashing their car.
In a statement, the producers expressed gratitude for bringing the play to Broadway, praising Mantello’s direction and the cast’s performances. They noted much of the audience were first-time Broadway attendees.
Reviews highlighted the acting, particularly Caruso’s starring turn. At 22, this marked her first leading role on Broadway after previous ensemble roles. We at Trevor Decker News have been following Caruso’s career for several years, going back to her acclaimed performance as Brigitta in NBC’s The Sound of Music Live in 2013. Her talent was evident even then, and she has continued to impress with her stage and screen roles over the past decade.
