At the SAG Awards on Sunday, Jenna Ortega, the star of Netflix’s “Wednesday,” and Aubrey Plaza presented the award for Male Actor in a Television Movie or Limited Series.
The pair began bantering in a humorous exchange after realizing they were paired together for the presentation. The joke was that the two actors share a deadpan tone, which made their banter particularly entertaining.
Plaza broke the silence after ten seconds, questioning why they were paired together. Ortega responded that they had nothing in common.
The two actors then joked that they should find the people responsible for pairing them and curse their families to have misfortune follow them for seven generations.
Plaza joked that she understood the reason for their pairing after their banter.
