Watch the Red Band Trailer for Children of the Corn’s Chilling New Remake

NOTE: This article is 1 month old and may not include the most recent information.

The Children of the Corn franchise is back with a new installment, and this time it’s heading straight to streaming platforms. Directed by Kurt Wimmer and based on Stephen King’s famous short story, the latest reimagining focuses on a 12-year-old girl named Eden (played by Kate Moyer) who is possessed by a spirit in a dying Nebraska cornfield. She enlists the other children in town to join her in a violent rebellion to take control.

The film also features Elena Kampouris, Callan Mulvey, and Bruce Spence. The theatrical release will begin on March 3 and last for 18 days before the movie is available for streaming. This is a trend that has become increasingly popular since the pandemic as more people choose to watch new releases from the comfort of their own homes.

For those who want to watch the original Children of the Corn movie, which was released in 1984 and starred Peter Horton and Linda Hamilton, it is now streaming on Prime Video, Shudder, and Tubi for free. This classic thriller has become a cult favorite among horror fans, and it’s the perfect choice for those who want to revisit the story or see it for the first time.
