Levi Holloway’s play “Grey House”, which won three Jeff Awards in 2020, is set to open the 2023-2024 Broadway season. The story follows a couple who, after crashing their car on a mountain, take shelter in an isolated cabin with strange inhabitants, all while a blizzard rages outside. As they become increasingly unsure of reality, a mysterious sound in the walls adds to their confusion.
The Broadway production of “Grey House” will be directed by Joe Mantello and will feature a star-studded cast, including Laurie Metcalf, Tatiana Maslany, and Sophia Anne Caruso..
Given Sophia Anne Caruso’s track record of delivering outstanding performances, including her work in “Beetlejuice The Musical” and “The School for Good and Evil”, it’s no surprise that her portrayal in “Grey House” is highly anticipated. Audiences can expect Caruso to bring her signature blend of talent, nuance, and authenticity to the stage, making her a standout in the production.
Producers Tom Kirdahy and Robert Ahrens expressed their excitement about bringing the horror genre to Broadway. The production will showcase scenic design by Scott Pask, costume design by Rudy Mance, lighting design by Natasha Katz, sound design by Tom Gibbons, and more. Preview performances begin on April 29th, and tickets are available through September 3rd on GreyHouseBroadway.com.
