Isabella Gomez is gearing up to lead the cast of the much-anticipated indie horror film, “The Mannequin.” Fans will recognize Gomez from hit shows like “One Day at a Time” and “The Goldbergs.”
Gomez takes on the role of Liana Rojas, a stylist assistant who stumbles upon eerie suspicions that her workplace might be haunted.
Joining her on the screen are Lindsay LaVanchy, Shireen Lai, Maxwell Hamilton, Gabriella Rivera, and Jack Sochet. The film’s direction and writing credits go to John Berardo, known for his work on the horror flick “Initiation.”
Producing the movie are Maxwell Hamilton and Ashley Rosenberg. Notably, Deadline reports that the film has secured an interim agreement from SAG-AFTRA, greenlighting production under the Ultra Low Budget Agreement. This progress comes as negotiations are still ongoing.
Filming is set to roll out in Los Angeles in the upcoming week. With Gomez on board, this indie horror venture is undeniably gaining traction.
