Peacock officially pulled back the curtain this morning, February 5, by releasing the first teaser for its upcoming original series, The Miniature Wife. Along with the footage, the streamer confirmed that all 10 episodes of the “high-concept marital dramedy” will premiere on April 9.
The series stars Elizabeth Banks as Lindy and Matthew Macfadyen as Les Littlejohn. The plot follows a technological accident that leaves Lindy miniaturized, sparking a darkly comedic and razor-sharp battle for supremacy within their marriage.
Sofia Rosinsky, whose career we have been following closely since her early breakout roles that have included the Disney Channel series Fast Layne, as well as Prime Video’s series Paper Girls, and more, stars as a series regular in the role of Lulu Littlejohn. As the daughter of the central couple, Lulu is positioned right in the crosshairs of her parents’ escalating domestic warfare.
The project features a powerhouse creative team, with Jennifer Ames and Steve Turner (Boardwalk Empire) serving as showrunners and Greg Mottola (Superbad) directing multiple episodes. Rosinsky joins an elite ensemble cast that includes O-T Fagbenle, Zoe Lister-Jones, and Sian Clifford.
