Netflix has unveiled the long-awaited trailer for Stranger Things Season 5, giving fans their first look at the final battle for Hawkins and the chilling return of Vecna. Set in the fall of 1987, the teaser reintroduces viewers to a town under military lockdown as the chaos of the Upside Down begins to consume the real world.

Eleven, portrayed by Millie Bobby Brown, appears to be in hiding and preparing for one last confrontation with Vecna, who has been rebuilt and is more powerful than ever. The trailer also highlights Will Byers, played by Noah Schnapp, as Vecna tells him in a haunting line, “You’re going to help me one last time.” The Duffer Brothers have confirmed that Will’s journey will be central to the story’s conclusion, bringing his arc full circle after his connection to the Mind Flayer in earlier seasons.

Matt Duffer described Season 5 as “a brutal season” that pushes every character to their limit. The trailer teases the emotional and action-packed finale that will close out the global phenomenon that began in Hawkins nearly a decade ago.

The final season will roll out in three parts:
