Fans of Nickelodeon’s hit series Victorious are about to get a major dose of nostalgia. Netflix has officially confirmed that a spinoff titled Hollywood Arts is in development, with Daniella Monet reprising her beloved role as Trina Vega.

The new series will see Trina returning to her alma mater, Hollywood Arts High School, this time as a substitute teacher. According to reports, she’s hilariously unqualified for the position, setting up plenty of opportunities for the kind of musical chaos and over-the-top humor that made the original show so popular.

Hollywood Arts has already been ordered for 26 episodes and is set to premiere exclusively on Netflix in 2026 before eventually streaming on Nickelodeon and Paramount+. Production is underway in Vancouver, with the show being helmed by Jake Farrow and Samantha Martin. Daniella Monet will also serve as an executive producer.

The cast will introduce a new generation of students at the performing arts school, including Alyssa Miles, Emmy Liu-Wang, Peyton Jackson, Erika Swayze, and Martin Kamm. Yvette Nicole Brown is also set to make a guest appearance, linking the new series back to its Nickelodeon roots.

Notably, original creator Dan Schneider is not involved in the project. This signals a new creative direction for the franchise, giving the series an opportunity to evolve with today’s audiences while keeping the heart and humor that fans remember.

The original Victorious ran from 2010 to 2013 and helped launch the careers of Victoria Justice, Ariana Grande, Elizabeth Gillis, and Avan Jogia. Its blend of comedy, music, and friendship made it one of Nickelodeon’s standout hits of the early 2010s. The upcoming spinoff aims to capture that same magic while offering something fresh for new viewers discovering Hollywood Arts for the first time.

Whether you grew up watching Tori Vega and her friends or you’re discovering the world of Hollywood Arts for the first time, this new series is shaping up to be a fun and heartfelt return to one of Nickelodeon’s most memorable shows.
