Audiences will once again be able to gather in detention with the beloved characters of The Breakfast Club as the classic 1985 film heads back to theaters for a special 40th anniversary celebration. Universal Pictures has announced that the movie will play on September 7 and September 10, giving fans two chances to experience the film on the big screen.
Alongside the theatrical re-release, Universal has unveiled a special anniversary poster highlighting the legacy of John Hughes’ coming-of-age story, which brought together a group of high school students from very different backgrounds and turned them into unlikely friends over the course of one unforgettable Saturday.
