Netflix Welcomes ‘Peppa Pig’ to Its Streaming Lineup Alongside New Kid-Friendly Games

Netflix is doubling down on its commitment to children’s entertainment. Hot on the heels of its announcement that Sesame Street is heading to the platform, the streaming giant has confirmed that new episodes of Peppa Pig will also be joining its lineup. In addition to streaming, the beloved animated character will star in a brand-new mobile game experience called World of Peppa Pig.

The move marks a continued expansion of Netflix’s efforts in the kids gaming sector, following its pivot toward casual and educational mobile games that tie directly into familiar franchises. Alongside Peppa Pig, Sesame Street will also receive its own interactive game experience, with Netflix teasing formats like Cookie Monster’s new “Cookie Cart” and Abby’s magical Fairy Garden.

The World of Peppa Pig game is designed as a hub of mini-games and video content that teaches preschoolers essential life skills. The platform includes activities centered around puzzle-solving, memory, object recognition, and pattern matching. For creative play, kids can sing along to songs, dress up characters, color, paint, and even design their own scenes using digital stickers and backgrounds—creating what Netflix describes as the perfect “digital diorama.” The game also features more relaxed entertainment options, such as nursery rhymes, read-along stories, and full episodes of the show.

Peppa Pig debuted in 2004, created by Neville Astley and Mark Baker, and has since grown into one of the most recognizable preschool brands in the world. Originally developed by UK-based studio eOne, the show became part of the Hasbro family when the toy giant acquired eOne. Even after most of eOne’s film and TV operations were sold to Lionsgate in 2024, Peppa Pig remained under Hasbro’s wing, continuing to thrive as a key piece of its entertainment portfolio.

Netflix’s partnership with Peppa Pig and Sesame Street signals its larger strategy to engage young audiences not just through episodes, but through immersive digital experiences that blend education and play. With regular content updates promised throughout the year, families can expect fresh content and interactive fun from their favorite preschool characters in the months to come.
