Disney has unveiled the official trailer for its live-action adaptation of Snow White, showcasing a fresh take on the beloved 1937 classic. Starring Rachel Zegler as the iconic Disney Princess and Gal Gadot as the scheming Evil Queen, the film is set to hit theaters in spring 2025.
The trailer introduces audiences to Snow White’s quest to reclaim her kingdom after being forced to flee into the forest by her jealous stepmother. In the safety of the woods, she encounters the seven familiar dwarfs—Bashful, Doc, Dopey, Grumpy, Happy, Sleepy, and Sneezy—who offer their help in her fight to restore justice.
“The Queen stole everything from all of us. I’m going to need your help. It’s time to restore our Kingdom,” Zegler’s Snow White declares, rallying her woodland allies.
The trailer also teases a powerful new ballad, Waiting on a Wish, performed by Zegler, adding to the film’s fresh musical elements. The live-action remake features original songs by Benj Pasek and Justin Paul, known for their work on The Greatest Showman.
Directed by Marc Webb and produced by Marc Platt and Jared LeBoff, Snow White seeks to reimagine the timeless fairy tale for a new generation. Fans will also see Gadot transform into the disguised old woman offering the infamous poisoned apple, heightening the stakes for the Princess.
Originally slated for release in March 2024, the film’s debut was delayed to spring 2025 following the SAG-AFTRA strike.
Joining Zegler and Gadot are Ansu Kabia as the Huntsman and Martin Klebba as Grumpy.
Disney’s Snow White promises to be a standout in the studio’s spring lineup, blending nostalgia with innovative storytelling.
