Sloan Treacy Releases Debut EP “Stuck” Featuring New Tracks and Fan-Favorite “Great Escape”

At just 15, Sloan Treacy continues to impress with her unique ability to turn personal reflections into relatable songs. After the success of her recent single Great Escape, Sloan is now taking her music to the next level with the release of her debut EP Stuck. This project not only showcases her growth as an artist but also gives listeners a deeper look into her experiences and emotions.

Reflecting on the creation of the EP, Sloan shared that it’s a product of spending time alone with her thoughts and working through her feelings. “This EP is really the perfect example of what happens when I’m left alone with my thoughts and need to find the words that will make everything make sense,” she explains. The authenticity of her songwriting shines through, making it easy for fans to connect with her lyrics.

Working alongside Don Miggs, a producer with an impressive roster that includes names like Dolly Parton and Mick Fleetwood, Sloan’s sound has evolved into something that fans of Gracie Abrams and Lizzy McAlpine will likely enjoy. The EP includes tracks like Just Don’t, Forever and Always, and the title song Stuck, which was inspired by an argument she overheard between a couple. Sloan’s ability to take real-life situations and weave them into her music shows a maturity beyond her years.

The track Stuck in particular speaks to the frustration of feeling limited by someone else’s unwillingness to change. It’s just one example of how Sloan continues to explore complex emotions through her music, while maintaining a strong connection with her fans. “I did my best to portray the experiences with complete honesty,” Sloan says of the EP, noting that each song has its own distinct sound and message.

Following the release of Great Escape, it’s clear that Stuck will continue to build upon the momentum Sloan has created, offering her audience more of the honesty and vulnerability that makes her music stand out.
