Young actress Pyper Braun, known for her roles in shows like “SuperKitties,” “Erin & Aaron,” and the Netflix series “Country Comfort” (which readers of Trevor Decker News may remember from its one-season run), made her very first talk show appearance this Thursday on The Kelly Clarkson Show. The 10-year-old was joined by her “Imaginary” co-star DeWanda Wise to promote their new horror film, which hits theaters this weekend.

Host Kelly Clarkson was immediately taken by Pyper’s poise and charm, exclaiming “Oh my gosh, you look like a mini woman and you’re so cute.” Pyper also revealed that it was her first time visiting New York City. When asked what she planned to do in the Big Apple, Pyper shared that she had already enjoyed a delicious burger and waffle fries at a local cafe, and was hoping to see the musical “Wicked” with her mom that evening.

The young actress also spoke about how she got her start in the entertainment industry. “I was a dancer when I was five years old,” Pyper explained. “I’ve always loved the stage.” Her first job was as a body double, but she quickly realized she wanted to do what the lead actress was doing instead. “I said, ‘I don’t wanna do this, I wanna do that,'” Pyper recalled with a smile.

Of course, no horror movie promotion is complete without a creepy prop. Pyper brought along the unsettling teddy bear Chauncey from the film “Imaginary.” Wise joked that Chauncey was the “diva” on set, with his own hair and makeup team. A visibly unsettled Clarkson maintained her composure and humor while interacting with the eerie stuffed animal.

Just don’t blame Pyper if you find yourself eyeing your old teddy bears with newfound suspicion after seeing the movie!
