Jenna Ortega hinted at an even more thrilling second season for “Wednesday” during her recent Emmys appearance. The hit Netflix series is set to amp up the action, horror and supernatural elements when it returns.
According to Ortega, the scripts for Season 2 feel more cinematic in scale, with each episode unfolding like a mini movie. She suggested the show will double down on its trademark creepy charm and macabre tone in the new episodes.
The show is also shifting production from Romania to Ireland this time around. While full plot details remain under wraps, Ortega indicated that Season 2 will move away from any romantic storylines for the title character.
