The psychological thriller “She Came Back”, starring Amybeth McNulty of “Anne With An E” and “Stranger Things”, finally has a release date after facing pandemic delays during production. The film will release digitally in the US in April through Tricoast Worldwide, with a limited theatrical run planned beforehand.
“She Came Back” follows McNulty’s character Charley who, after a near-death experience, finds herself haunted by her relationship with her late mother. The indie film ran into trouble early when production shut down in February 2020 due to the pandemic. After regrouping, the crew was able to finish filming the movie.
In addition to McNulty, the film also stars Megan Follows, Kris Holden-Ried, Athena Karkanis, and Colm Feore. It is directed by Follows and written by Christina Vegas. Producers include Dana Abraham and Dean Armstrong.
On the distribution side, Raven Banner will handle the international release and distribution in Canada when it screens at the upcoming European Film Market (EFM). Excitement is already building for the project, with Abraham sharing, “We’re thrilled to be partnered with Strath Hamilton and his team at Tricoast, as well as Raven Banner on this journey, who have shared in our enthusiasm for the film.”
