Actress Mckenna Grace has just finished filming her role as Phoebe in the upcoming Ghostbusters sequel Frozen Empire. Photos emerged showing Grace in Pittsburgh for Steel City Comic Con shortly after wrapping production on the movie. In one photo from the event, she holds a signed print depicting imagery related to the new film.
Grace also posted on social media shortly after filming ended, sharing an on-set photo of the iconic Ecto-1 vehicle. Her caption read: “Don’t think I’ll ever get used to this,” likely referring to the excitement of being part of the legendary franchise.
While plot details are still mostly under wraps, we know Frozen Empire will feature the return of Paul Rudd, Carrie Coon, Finn Wolfhard, and other Afterlife cast members alongside original Ghostbusters stars Bill Murray, Dan Aykroyd, Ernie Hudson, and Annie Potts.
With filming now wrapped, McKenna Grace will join her co-stars as the movie enters post-production ahead of its March 29, 2024 release date. After all her supernatural escapades in the previous film, we wonder what adventures await Grace’s character Phoebe in the next Ghostbusters installment. Stay tuned for more updates as the movie comes together!
