Ever Anderson, the talented 15-year-old actress set to portray Wendy in the highly anticipated Disney+ film, ‘Peter Pan & Wendy,’ recently shared her experiences from the long audition process to her eight months of filming in Canada and the Faroe Islands. In an exclusive interview with Elle magazine for their 2023 Hollywood Rising portfolio, Anderson opened up about the challenges and rewards of her unforgettable journey.

The young actress was ecstatic when she learned she had landed the role of Wendy, after having told her English teacher she got the part before actually receiving confirmation. “I found out that I got the role of Wendy at my friend’s house, after I had told my English teacher that I got it when I hadn’t yet,” she revealed. Anderson was genuinely surprised, considering the high-profile nature of the role and the immense competition.

While filming the movie, Anderson spent eight months away from her friends and family, an experience she will never forget. The tight-knit cast and crew helped create a fun atmosphere on set, and she even participated in a few pranks on co-star Jude Law. “We got to play a few pranks on [co-star] Jude Law which was like, oh my God!” Anderson shared. To celebrate the end of main filming, the cast and crew engaged in a water gun fight, a fond memory for the young actress.

Despite her exciting time on set, Anderson admits that she didn’t check in with her friends as often as she should have. Since wrapping up filming, she has been working on strengthening her friendships and staying connected. “I’ve been trying to do everything I can to catch up with my friends while I’m here and not working, so that I keep these connections alive, because I love my friends,” she said.

As the world eagerly awaits the release of ‘Peter Pan & Wendy,’ Ever Anderson’s passion and dedication to her craft are sure to make a lasting impression on audiences. With her career on the rise, we can’t wait to see what the future holds for this talented young star.
