Fans of “The Peripheral” have great news! Prime Video has confirmed that the hit show will be back for a second season. Based on William Gibson’s best-selling novel of the same name, the show stars Chloe Grace Moretz and is produced by Amazon Studios and Warner Bros. Television, in partnership with Kilter Films.

The first season of “The Peripheral” made its global debut on Prime Video in October 2022 and was a hit with audiences in over 240 countries. The show was praised for its unique and ambitious storytelling, as well as its talented cast and creative team.

Smith, Vincenzo Natali, Nolan and Joy, Athena Wickham, and Steven Hoban.

In “The Peripheral,” viewers follow the story of Flynne Fisher (played by Moretz), a woman trying to keep her family together in a forgotten corner of America’s future. Flynne is smart, ambitious, and struggling, but all of that changes when the future comes calling for her.

Vernon Sanders, head of global television at Amazon Studios, added, “William’s mind-bending story in partnership with the brilliant minds of Scott and Jonathan and Lisa, produced an unforgettable journey for our global audience and we are thrilled with how they embraced the series. We look forward to extending our partnership with Warner Bros. and Kilter Films as this uniquely ambitious series continues to unfold.”

Season one of “The Peripheral” featured a star-studded cast that included Jack Reynor, Gary Carr, Eli Goree, Louis Herthum, JJ Feild, T’Nia Miller, Charlotte Riley, and more. With the renewed success of the show, fans can expect even more talented actors and exciting storylines in the upcoming second season.
