Jenna Ortega Returns for “Scream 6” as Ghostface Terrorizes New York City – Watch Trailer

Paramount Pictures has released the official trailer for the highly-anticipated horror movie, “Scream 6”. The trailer gives fans a glimpse of Ghostface as he returns this time to terrorize the streets of New York City. Fans are also excited to see Hayden Panettiere’s character, Kirby Reed, return to the franchise. The trailer confirms that Kirby is still alive, despite her run-in with Ghostface in “Scream 4”.

One of the most notable mentions in the trailer is the return of Jenna Ortega. Ortega, known for her role as Wednesday Addams in the popular Netflix series “Wednesday” is reprising her role in the Scream franchise after making her debut in Scream 5. Her return to the franchise is sure to be exciting for fans of the actress. The cast also includes Courteney Cox, reprising her role from previous films, as well as Melissa Barrera, Jasmin Savoy Brown, and Mason Gooding from the 2022 installment of the franchise. Newcomers to the series include Samara Weaving, Dermot Mulroney, Tony Revolori, Josh Segarra, Liana Liberato, and Jack Champion.

It’s worth mentioning that Neve Campbell, who played the lead role of Sidney Prescott, will not be appearing in the film due to a pay dispute. Campbell, in a statement to Variety, said “I felt the offer that was presented to me did not equate to the value I have brought to the franchise.”

“Scream 6” is directed by Matt Bettinelli-Olpin and Tyler Gillett, and written by James Vanderbilt and Guy Busick. The film is produced by William Sherak, Vanderbilt, and Paul Neinstein. In an interview, one of the cast members, Melissa Barrera, mentioned that fans can expect a more intense installment than the previous one.
