Thursday marked the end of filming for the upcoming series titled “High School.” The television series which is scheduled to premiere this fall as part of Amazon’s Freevee streaming is based on the memoir of Canadian twin music duo Tegan and Sara and will focus on the teenagers set in the 1990s. Filming took place in Canada over the past few months. The news was first shared on Seazynn Gilliland’s Instagram story.

The new series will star Railey and Seazynn Gilliland in the roles of Tegan and Sara as they discover their identities, love, relationships, and ultimately the talent that the twin sisters share for music.

“High School” is directed by Clea DuVall with both Tegan and Sara serving as writers for the new series along with Clea DuVall.
