Disney could soon become the most powerful force in Hollywood after the company previously purchased 20th Century FOX. Disney may be eyeing MGM next according to a strong rumor. MGM is up for sale and is home to some legendary titles including The Wizard Of Oz, the 007 franchise, and much more.

Disney has had a successful working relationship with MGM in the past which led to the popular attraction The Great Movie Ride and an MGM branded movie studio attraction.

The acquisition of yet another iconic studio by Disney could be a move to help the company’s streaming service Disney+ to overtake Netflix as the dominant streaming content provider.
